Summer Holiday FOOTBALL Camp 2025 - for ages 7 years to 12 years 2 Weeks x 5-Day Multisport Camp (flexi-booking welcome): Week 1: Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July 2025 (5 Days) Week 2: Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August 2025 (5 Days) *BOOKING LAUNCH: SUNDAY 22nd JUNE 2025 @7pm (Camp will appear as Full until booking goes live at that time) £20 per day, per child. 9am-3pm. After a very successful first year of elite Football specific coaching camps, Wirral Multi-Sports is pleased to announce we are returning to offer a Football-specific camp, for ages 7-12 years old, during the upcoming Summer Holidays. This camp will be delivered at Hilbre High School, West Kirby. WMS remains partnered with Vauxhall Motors' Youth Coach, Josh Walsh, to offer a Football-specific training camp. Josh Walsh is an FA qualified coach, with many years of experience coaching elite youth and adult football. Originally from Northern Ireland but now residing in Wirral, Josh has played elite level football at youth International level for Northern Ireland, professional level in America and high level semi-professional football across the UK. Josh will therefore bring a wealth of elite level playing and coaching experience to our WMS Football Camp. Number will limited to 18, to ensure a high concentration of quality coaching. Our fun filled Football Camps will be centred around skill development, via a plethora of fun football drills, activities and match play. Football will be played both outdoors and indoors. Summer Holiday FOOTBALL Camp 2025 - for ages 7 years to 12 years 2 Weeks x 5-Day Multisport Camp (flexi-booking welcome): Week 1: Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July 2025 (5 Days) Week 2: Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August 2025 (5 Days) The camp is delivered on Hilbre Pitches and Indoor Football Pitch, but Registration is in Hilbre PE Department (to the right rear of the car park). **Please note, other companies/camps may be running so it is important you check you are registering in the school building with Wirral Multi-Sports and not other providers letting school facilities). Each Friday, we will hold a presentation to award medals and certificates. We believe in enhancing the child in all aspects of football and personal development. These areas include, but are not limited to: Skill enhancement Match play confidence Safe tackling Composure Resilience Fitness Tactical knowledge and awareness Transitional play Decision Making Confidence FUN is at the heart of all sessions and activities. The cost of a full 5 day week is £100. Flexi-individual day booking is welcomed at £20 per day per child. 9am - 3pm (complimentary drop off from 8:30am available) Camps will be run in all weather conditions so please provide: Packed Lunch Refillable water bottle Sun screen Football Boots needed for on field session. Please bring suitable indoor footwear in case sessions move indoors. Shin pads (preferred but not essential) Waterproof jacket/training wear We will of course utilise indoor space for lunches and breaks (and shelter if raining heavier). Pre Booking:
Booking Launch: Sunday 22nd June 2025 @ 7pm - Camp will show as full until booking goes live. As soon as booking is live, if you cannot select a day it means it is full.
Non negotiable Capacity capped at 18 - we anticipate a strong uptake so early booking advisable to avoid disappointment.
Places are automatically allocated on a first come first served basis so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Post Booking:
Free of charge, early drop-off facility - Gates will open at 8:30.
Children register to the right rear Hilbre High School car park, directly in to the PE department.
You may experience a queue due to the popularity of the provision. We have introduced the complimentary 8:30 drop off to allow time for your child to start as close to the 9am start time as possible.
There is no obligation for you to queue with your child once in the perimeter of the secured fence, however WMS can only assume responsibility of your child once they have registered with the Head Coach at the registration desk.
Where possible we ask you to still informally try to drop children off at the most convenient to you of the following 10 minute drop off times: 8:30 / 8:40 / 8:50 / 9:00 / 9:10+. This will still assist in reducing queuing congestion.
Where possible, we will also ensure two registration desks are in operation.
Please provide a water bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Please provide packed lunch - food must never be shared.
Please read the terms and conditions when prompted to do so within the booking process as these include comprehensive cancellation policy terms.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking and/or request a child to be collected whereby their behaviour persistently becomes disruptive to the camp as a whole and or/ in any instance whereby poor behaviour creates a risk to harm of themselves and/or others. Wirral Multi-Sports takes a pragmatic approach and we pride ourselves on our support to children in their social and emotional development, but, this is not school day and we will request a child to be collected if these breaches are deemed significant, persistent or serious. We have a responsibility to ensure every child has a positive experience on our camps. In these instances payment will be sacrificed.
Many parents enjoy seeing pictures of the fun their children are having on our camps. You will have the option to opt out of photo permissions in sign up process.
WMS camps have the ideal of inclusivity at the heart of all we attempt to achieve. We have welcomed many SEND children on to our camps and seen many of them prosper greatly as a result of a great time. Please be reminded though, that WMS is not exclusively a SEND provision and whilst we will make every effort possible to do so, we may conclude that we cannot meet the individual and specific needs of your child. If this is the case, we will discuss this with you and possibly recommend a ceasing of participation, particularly where the experience of your child, or the wider attending body, may be compromised.
